Training and Education

 Alexis is a former Division 1 athlete and has extensive experience coaching. She has been teaching yoga for five years. She trained under Claudia Chambers, founder of Raleigh NC Yoga, and looks to her as both teacher and mentor.

Teaching Style

Alexis reminds yogis not to take yoga too seriously. She advocates for self compassion and urges yogis to meet their bodies where they are that day. Alexis provides a range of modifications and uses easy-to-follow cues. She isn’t afraid to slow down a flow and encourage yogis to take their time, listen to their bodies, and ditch expectations at the door. Alexis embodies a judgement-free practice and invites others to join her in this space.
