“Yoga brings us home to ourselves — and from that place, healing and love unfold.”

Helen completed her 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Loving Kindness Yoga School and is currently continuing her studies there in a 300-hour training program.

She also holds both a Master of Public Health and a Master of Social Work, which deeply inform her compassionate, whole-person approach to teaching and supporting students.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Outside the studio, Helen loves spending time with her partner of more than two decades, their two daughters, and two fluffy kittens. She enjoys playing and coaching soccer, spending time outdoors, meditating, dancing, writing poetry and books, and gathering around board games.

OFF THE MAT

Get to Know helen

Helen has long felt “at home” on her yoga mat. Her personal practice is inspired by the belief that when we slow down, get still, and listen closely to our own experiences, we begin to heal and reconnect with ourselves. Yoga and meditation, for Helen, are pathways back to inner steadiness, self-trust, and love. For Helen, yoga is about remembering what is already here.

INSPIRATION

“I hope to guide students toward feeling secure, seen, and deeply trusting that they already have everything they need within them.”

Tadasana (Mountain Pose):
A reminder that rooting and rising can exist together. For Helen, this pose embodies strength, stability, and stillness, and reflects the ever-present support beneath us and within us.

FAVORITE POSE

Teaching Style

Helen meets students exactly where they are. Her classes invite intention, presence, and dedication to self through breath awareness, mindful movement, and acceptance of what is. She encourages students to move from a place of intrinsic light — offering support, space, and gentle guidance so each person can access their own experience on the mat.

What you’ll Hear in Helen’s Classes

Her playlists often include The Head and The Heart, Brett Dennen, John Lennon, and soulful kirtan music.
