Karen Fuhrman

“Being able to share this practice with as many people as possible and seeing students grow stronger everyday is what inspires me as a teacher.”

Karen’s 10+ years of teaching is rooted in alignment, strength, and the belief that yoga is a lifelong practice of learning and self-discovery. Inspired by her mentor, Natasha Rizopoulos, Karen combines thoughtful cueing with intentional sequencing to create classes that are both challenging and supportive.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Outside the studio, Karen’s greatest passion is family. She loves spending time with her husband, their three children (18, 15, and 13), and their extended circle of siblings and in-laws.

“Every time I step on my mat, I learn something new — about a posture, my body, or myself.”

This sense of curiosity and exploration is woven into her teaching, along with carefully curated playlists.

“I love music and moving to it, on or off my mat.
